A General Note on Insurance:

We understand that navigating the insurance process can be challenging and confusing. We also understand that it can be frustrating to find providers who accept your insurance, and we appreciate the trust you place in us as you seek a dental home for your family.

Our goal is to work closely with insurance carriers to provide quality dental care to as many patients as possible, and we’re here to help every step of the way. However, not all insurance carriers agree to the terms and requirements necessary for us to participate in their networks. Because of this, we cannot be in-network with every plan.

Each insurance company has different reimbursement rates, administrative rules, and coverage policies. Sometimes these factors make it difficult for us to maintain the high standards of care and personalized service we strive to offer. By accepting select insurance plans, we can better focus on offering excellent care while maintaining the quality you expect and deserve.

What does “Insurance Friendly” Mean?

We are in network with many PPO dental plans, but because each one has its own rules and provider networks, we’re unable to provide a definitive list of in-network plans on our website. We’ll need to review your specific policy to determine how it works with our office. Please note that our office is not in network with any HMO/DHMO plans or Medicaid plans.*

The best way to check your benefits is to have your insurance card and the policyholder’s date of birth ready when you call or email to schedule. If you don’t have your card available, just send us the name of your insurance plan and we’ll do our best to look it up for you.

We’ll verify your benefits and provide an estimate before your visit—so there are no surprises. We’ll also submit all claims on your behalf. If after verification your plan happens to be out-of-network, many plans still offer out-of-network coverage. If your plan offers out-of-network benefits and you choose to utilize them, we will still submit all claims on your behalf to help maximize your reimbursement. In fact, some patients find that their out-of-network benefits are just as good—or even better—than in-network coverage.

We always strive to give you an accurate estimate of what your insurance will cover in advance. However, insurance companies can sometimes provide unclear or incorrect information, and claims may be denied for reasons beyond our control. While we can’t guarantee how your insurer will process claims, we’re always upfront about costs and will do everything we can to advocate for you. Our goal is to keep the process as transparent and stress-free as possible.

*In the State of Florida, providers not enrolled with Medicaid are legally prohibited from submitting claims to Medicaid on a patient’s behalf. In these cases, services must be provided under our self-pay rates.
